The report found that the strongest monthly inflows of the year came in July, with a total of 4.6 to almost $7.4 billion made up on 4 June. Outflows totaled $8.1 billion.
BTC short positions see small outflows
In the week ending July 29, investment in digital currency products continued for the sixth week, with an investment of 81 million US dollars.
In other words, there was also a small amount of outflow of short positions this week, BTC inflow of 85 million US dollars, BTC short outflow of 2.6 million US dollars. It was the first week of outflows, according to reports, following five weeks of inflows in the recent bear market. Even at the time of writing, BTC is trading above $23,000 over the past seven days and CoinGecko is up about 4%.
However, Craig Erlam, an analyst at broker Oanda, predicts that BTC prices could surge further in the coming days. Barron's quoted analysts as saying: "As we have seen in the stock market, it has the feeling of a bear market rebound, but that does not mean that it will not rise further,"
BTC exceeded $24,600 over the weekend, but the price point could not be maintained, and soon fell below the highest point reached after mid-June.
[It [BTC] has shown a lot of resilience below $20,000 at times, and with less than ideal conditions, that might lead one to believe that the worst is over, but I don`t," Erlam said.
Antoni Trenchev, co-founder and managing partner of digital currency lender Nexo, said in August that "the appetite is expected to be BTC" because of the inevitable additional volatility.
Solana remains an investor favorite
In other words, the total outflow of multi-asset investment products in the second week was 3.7 million US dollars.
In the alt-verse, Solana`s capital inflows were modest, totaling $1.5 million; CoinShares highlighted $114 million inflows so far this year, as he remains a favorite among investors.

Taking Ethereum as an example, last week`s largest counterfeit currency inflow was 8.1 million US dollars, but this time it did not reach, only 1.1 million US dollars per week. Since the beginning of the year, however, flows remain negative at around $315 million.
In terms of price, ETH maintained a 24-hour price of $1,641.88 and $1,743.65 on CoinGecko. Compared with the historical high of more than $4,800 in November 2021, the price is still down about 65%. Meanwhile, the second-largest digital currency is also preparing for a merger in September.
Polkadot also experienced an inflow of $400,000 last week.
Meanwhile, inflows from the U.S. and Canada totaled $15 million and $67 million, respectively, with North America accounting for the majority of capital inflows to the region. Germany and Brazil saw small outflows.
