The business has filed 19 trademark applications for all of its major brands, saying it plans to:

According to a US Patent and Trademark Office document filed by Ford on Sept. 2, the automaker plans to create downloadable artwork, text, sound and video, including NFT-certified vehicles, SUVs, trucks and trucks.
The company also revealed plans for "downloadable virtual goods," or "computer programs," including auto parts and accessories and apparel for use in "virtual virtual worlds online," including trade shows in virtual and augmented reality.
I also plan to create and promote a marketplace for "other people's digital art" and "non-fungible token (NFT) online retail store services featuring data collections" via the web.

Ford's decision to enter the Web3 industry came less than a month after Bill Ford and Ford Executive Chairman Jim Farley announced mass layoffs to reduce company spending.
Ford is not the first car company to enter the Metaverse.
American automaker Ford Vehicles is poised to enter the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and the Metaverse with its newest brand of cars – filing 19 trademark applications for its major brand vehicles.
Nippon Production, Toyota and Hyundai have announced plans to expand into the fast-growing Yuanjie industry, and luxury carmakers such as Bentley and Lamborghini have launched NFT collections.
