Roche Freedman served as the plaintiff in a class action lawsuit launched in 2019, suing Tether and Bitfinex for unsecured issuance of Tether (USDT) to manipulate the encrypted market.
KirbyMcInerneyLLP (Kirby) and RadiceLawFirm, PC (Radice), who are also representatives of the three plaintiffs in the case, will submit RocheFreeman's request to withdraw from the court on Monday.
In the filing, the companies argue that they should be replaced by top-tier lawyers because Roche Friedman would distract the courts from investor claims and "has the right to harm a presumed group:"
"A new leadership construct is designed to prevent the adequacy of counsel or the motivation and use of juggling in litigation and discovery."
The controversy began after CryptoLeaks came to light, accusing video showing Kyle Roche and AvaLabs harming competitors based on use of lawsuits, entering into secret agreements and being widely publicized.
According to court records released on August 31, Kyle Roche (Kyle Roche) withdrew from several encryption class action lawyer positions, including Tether and Bitfinex encryption asset litigation.
Roche Freedman filed a response on Tuesday, calling the move an "extraordinary remedy" to overturn a project based on "an attorney's voice who swore the interpretations were false or misunderstood:"
"The company has also taken modest countermeasures to avoid any wrongdoing."
Friedman said he "was elected out of this case" and he will "never get any part of the proceeds of this lawsuit."
It feels this should be the end of the matter, since "in effect, the company's five plaintiffs stand to lose the most if they are deprived of the attorneys they picked."

Tether, one of the defendants in this case, demanded that Roche Lawyers be completely revoked and that it had returned or destroyed all documents issued by the defendants, without sharing these documents with any third party.
