Speaking with Alex Fazel of Cryptonites, Vezzani said LunarCrush is valuable because it brings users overlooked and underused metrics. Other analytics platforms require users to find metrics on their own, which Vezzani and Farjo believe limits their usefulness to users.
Vezzani explained that users look for three main metrics when researching a project, of which social volume is the most important. LunarCrush identifies community volume by capturing when a particular coin is mentioned in each social post, and then identifies trends over time.
LunarCrush also captured the social engagement in its analytics posts and looked at the number of comments and conversations in each social post. In addition, the platform also describes the total number of social promoters. Vezzani explained that, in addition to being a way to get rid of bots and spam, looking at promotional numbers can also show the overall size of a coin`s community.
All of these metrics are then combined with token-specific marketing campaigns to generate what`s known as the platform`s Altrank.
Vezzani noted that Altrank is a very useful tool when it comes to identifying fast-growing and promising projects. AVAX LunarCrush was one of the first platforms to watch the Avalanche community grow before the price started to react.
To complement its existing tools, LunarCrush is building an entirely new suite of DeFi commodities called LunarFi. These products, Farjo said, are the driving force behind the company, the driving force behind delivering platform value to its community.
LunarCrush was the first to launch the DeFi product, which is a token pledge for this product LUNR. By participating in LunarCrush's native tokens, users can unlock different levels and functions on the platform. Farjo explained that users can easily earn tokens from the platform if they decide to keep the value LunarCrush gets from above being transferred elsewhere if they decide to keep them present.
